As we come to the 2nd installment of our interview series “HeartHub of TeamLease HRtech,” we have the distinct pleasure of introducing you to an exceptional individual, Mr. Dhiraj Dongare, our Assistant General Manager – Compliance Sales South.

Mr. Dhiraj has been an integral part of our team for 5 years, a span of time marked not only by their unwavering dedication but also by a series of impressive achievements. He has garnered not one, not two, but three Annual FAB Awards, which are bestowed upon only the highest performers among the TeamLease Group of Companies.

Now, let’s hear from Dhiraj himself:

Tell us about your career progression?

I started my career with Northern Trust, and later, I worked with Dainik Bhaskar and Network4Barter. TeamLease HRtech is my fourth company. I joined here 5 years back as a Business Development Manager. During these years, I’ve been promoted twice, and currently, I serve as an Assistant General Manager, heading the South region for Compliance Sales.

Could you elaborate on the main factors that have led to your success?

I think the hard work of my team is one of the key reasons behind our favorable outcomes. Their unwavering commitment, innovative thinking, and their collective pursuit of excellence have been instrumental in driving our successes. It’s their dedication and collaboration that have allowed us to not only meet but exceed our goals.

Furthermore, being customer-centric and clearly understanding their needs also goes a long way. By placing our customers at the center of our strategy, we’ve fostered trust and long-term partnerships. This approach has helped us trigger a virtuous cycle where we not only satisfy our clients but also stimulate a continuous influx of new business.

What do you mean when you say that you follow a customer-centric approach?

Unawareness of the applicable laws and regulations is a major problem for many businesses. So, we ensure that our sales representatives apprise the prospect about all the relevant compliances during the initial discussions. It helps our prospects prevent non-compliance as soon as they come into our contact.

During the service, we religiously follow up with our clients to check if they are facing any challenges. Similarly, we also stay in touch with our service delivery team members to ensure there are no roadblocks in fulfilling the client’s needs with the highest efficiency.

How do you motivate and lead your Sales team to achieve their targets?

Motivating and leading our sales team is indeed a top priority for me. As Benjamin Franklin once wisely said, ‘Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.’ I understand that success hinges on a motivated and inspired team. To achieve this, I actively provide the necessary support and guidance to ensure that the team stays on the right track. We work together to set clear, well-defined objectives, which gives everyone a strong sense of purpose and direction.
